MT 75

Environmental legislation requires waste to be managed responsibly, including minimising odours which can cause nuisance to nearby staff and visitors. Businesses using onsite compactors or waste storage areas often experience strong and persistent smells which traditional cleaning, filtration or chemical dosing cannot fully address. Fragrances may mask odours temporarily but do not treat the underlying air quality issues.

The Mega MT75 provides high intensity odour control for large enclosed spaces such as waste storage areas, compactors and industrial processes. The system uses thermal convection to draw contaminated air into an internal treatment chamber where ultraviolet energy and advanced oxidation destroy airborne microorganisms and break down odour causing compounds before treated air disperses back into the space. This delivers continuous, low energy operation designed for challenging environments where strong smells can quickly build up.

Benefits of using AIRsteril
  • > Reduce airborne microorganisms and odour causing compounds in waste and industrial areas
  • > Improve air quality in enclosed spaces where strong smells build quickly
  • > Support fresher conditions between standard cleaning routines
  • > Help create a more pleasant working environment for staff and contractors
  • > Reduce reliance on heavy fragrances and chemical dosing systems
  • > Help equipment, materials and surrounding areas stay fresher for longer
  • > Support compliance with odour management expectations for waste operations

HOW OUR SYSTEMS WORK

AIRsteril MT systems use ultraviolet germicidal irradiation and advanced oxidation to improve air quality in demanding environments. Contaminated air rises into the unit through thermal convection and passes through an internal chamber where airborne microorganisms are destroyed and odour causing compounds are broken down. The treated air is then dispersed back into the area to reduce airborne contaminants and help manage the strong smells associated with waste and industrial processes.

The system is engineered to maximise dwell time within the treatment chamber and to deliver effective, low energy operation without the need for fans. This provides continuous air treatment suitable for large enclosed spaces where odour build up can be persistent.
