ULTSA

Food production and clean waste environments can experience strong and persistent smells caused by airborne microorganisms and odour causing compounds. Heat, moisture and organic residues create conditions where odours develop quickly, particularly in enclosed or high activity areas where ventilation alone is not enough to maintain freshness.

The AIRsteril ULTSA range is built specifically for smaller processing spaces, offering robust, water resistant construction suitable for demanding industrial environments. Contaminated air is drawn into an internal treatment chamber where ultraviolet energy and advanced oxidation destroy airborne microorganisms and break down odour causing compounds before treated air is dispersed back into the room. This provides continuous, low energy air treatment to help improve air quality in challenging food production areas.

Benefits of using AIRsteril
  • > Reduce airborne microorganisms and odour causing compounds in smaller processing areas
  • > Improve air quality in enclosed food production rooms
  • > Support more consistent environmental conditions between routine cleaning
  • > Help manage strong smells caused by heat, moisture and organic residues
  • > Reduce reliance on masking agents and chemical odour treatments
  • > Support a cleaner smelling environment for staff working in demanding spaces
  • > Help processing rooms stay fresher for longer between deep cleans

How Our Systems Work

AIRsteril ULTSA systems use ultraviolet germicidal irradiation and advanced oxidation to improve air quality in demanding processing environments. Contaminated air rises into the unit through thermal convection and passes through an internal treatment chamber where airborne microorganisms are destroyed and odour causing compounds are broken down. The treated air is then dispersed back into the area to reduce airborne contaminants and help manage the strong smells associated with food production and clean waste operations.

The system is engineered to maximise dwell time within the treatment chamber and to deliver effective, low energy operation without the need for fans. This provides continuous air treatment suitable for smaller enclosed rooms where odour build up can occur quickly.
