The WC range is fan assisted and designed for heavy use washrooms where there are high numbers of daily visits. It provides continuous air movement through the treatment chamber to support improved air quality in busy facilities.
The WT range uses natural thermal convection to draw contaminated air into the unit where it is exposed to ultraviolet germicidal irradiation and advanced oxidation. Inside the chamber airborne microorganisms are destroyed and odour causing compounds are broken down before the treated air is released back into the room.
Every washroom is different. The most suitable unit will depend on factors such as room size, ventilation, expected footfall and usage patterns. DAX Airscience can assess your site and recommend an appropriate configuration to achieve consistent odour control and fresher conditions.
Unpleasant smells in washrooms can quickly affect how people view your wider organisation. In toilets, urinals and other enclosed spaces, odours are created by bacteria, mould, fungi and volatile organic compounds carried in the air. Standard cleaning and disinfecting practices help for a short time, but in between cleaning cycles smells often return as soon as the facilities are used again.
Certain bacteria can replicate very quickly in warm and humid conditions, which is why odour problems can build up even where regular cleaning is in place. By treating the air continuously, AIRsteril units help manage the odour causing compounds that build up in busy washrooms and support a cleaner smelling environment throughout the day.
AIRsteril technology helps you:
- Remove unpleasant washroom smells rather than simply masking them.
- Improve air quality in washrooms and adjoining areas.
- Improve first impressions for customers, staff and visitors.
- Help reduce complaints about washroom odours.
- Reduce reliance on strong cleaning chemicals and perfumes.
- Help fixtures and fittings stay cleaner for longer by reducing airborne deposits.
- Support regulatory compliance and high hygiene standards.
